Marit Bosselaar

Marit Bosselaar, attorney at law, is a member of the Dispute Resolution expert group in our Amsterdam office. She focuses on class actions and commercial litigation, including financial and ESG litigation.
Marit advises and litigates on commercial contracts and liability matters, including liability of financial institutions and ESG related issues. Marit has vast experience in class action litigation and advising on collective settlements. Marit is part of the firm wide ESG focus group and regularly litigates cases before the Dutch courts.
For more than four years, Marit was a board member of the Association of Young Litigators. She regularly publishes in scientific journals.
Recent matters that Marit has worked on include representing:
- a broker in a Dutch class action on alleged manipulation of interest rate benchmarks
- a group of car dealers in various Dutch class actions against multiple claim organisations relating to diesel emission devices in cars
- a public utilities company in a Dutch class action on public interests
- the former CEO of Airbus SE in a Dutch class action regarding shareholders’ claims
- various financial institutions in legal proceedings on alleged unfair consumer contracts
