Domestic & cross-border

In order to meet the demands of our (international) clients, Loyens & Loeff regularly represents clients in domestic and cross-border litigation, as well as in domestic and international arbitration.

Extensive sector knowledge

Clients among others include financial institutions, governments, corporations active in construction, in the energy, chemical, pharmaceutical, food and auto-motive industry, as well as providers of telecommunication services and information technology.

Mediation expertise

In addition to litigation Loyens & Loeff expanded its dispute resolution services with a mediation practice. In addition to party counsellor in a mediation, Loyens & Loeff mediators have acted as mediator in commercial, corporate and tax disputes where among others insurance companies, trade organisations, large corporations and entrepreneurs were one of disputing parties.

In March 2019 the Act on collective damages in class actions (WAMCA) was adopted, making it easier to litigate mass damages through the Dutch courts.
