His expertise includes EU and Dutch energy sector regulation, grid acces, trading and REMIT, RFNBO's, and tariff regulation. He assists grid operators, project developers, supply and trading companies, and industrial offtakers in various contentious and non-contentious matters. Roel also assists in M&A and financing transactions in relation to energy projects from a regulatory perspective.
He previously assisted market parties on project development, (inter)national mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and joint ventures.
