On 17 September 2025, Dow Jones Energy, a subsidiary of Dow Jones & Company, successfully acquired all shares in Eco-Movement, a leading global platform for EV charging station data headquartered in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Eco-Movement will now operate as part of OPIS, Dow Jones’ rapidly expanding energy business.

Eco-Movement is recognised for its advanced charge point data platform, which collects, optimises, and enriches data on public and semi-public EV charging stations, including real-time availability. The platform features nearly 2 million connectors across more than 80 countries, significantly enhancing the suite of energy products and services Dow Jones offers to its global customer base.

This cross-border transaction further strengthens Dow Jones’ position in the energy, automotive, and infrastructure sectors, supporting the transition to sustainable mobility and energy efficiency worldwide.
