Rutger advises and represents clients in court in complex liability cases and coverage related disputes. He works for (international) corporates in various industries as well as insureds, intermediaries, and insurance brokers.

Rutger has substantial experience in litigating cases before relevant Dutch courts, including summary judges, district courts and courts of appeal. Previously Rutger worked at a large international insurance company and at an insurance broker.

Recent matters that Rutger has worked on include amongst others representing:
• A large manufacturer of precast concrete products in various liability claims concerning defected products as well as coverage disputes under the insurance;
• One of the largest global insurance intermediaries in various litigations regarding all kind of insurances and duty of care;
• Corporate clients and financial institutions in various disputes on the coverage under insurance policies (e.g. PI, D&O, E&O, W&I)
