Marit Bosselaar, attorney at law, is a member of the Litigation & Risk Management practice group in our Amsterdam office. She focuses on commercial and financial litigation, ESG litigation and class actions.

Marit advises and litigates on commercial contracts and liability law matters, including liability of financial institutions and ESG related issues. Marit has vast experience in class action litigation and advising on collective settlements. Marit is part of the ESG focus group.
Marit regularly litigates cases before the Dutch courts, including the Netherlands Commercial Court (NCC), and the Financial Services Complaints Tribunal (Kifid).
Marit is a board member of the Association of Young Litigators. She regularly publishes in scientific journals.
Recent matters that Marit has worked on include representing:
- a broker in a Dutch class action on alleged manipulation of interest rate benchmarks
- a group of car dealers in various Dutch class actions against multiple claim organisations relating to diesel emission devices in cars
- a public utilities company in a Dutch class action on public interests
- the former CEO of Airbus SE in a Dutch class action regarding shareholders’ claims
- several lenders on mortgage and revolving credit matters before the Dutch courts and Kifid
