Léopold Meyers is a member of the Banking & Finance practice of our Luxembourg office. He advises on complex cross-border financing and refinancing transactions, with a strong focus on private equity–backed deals, as well as on debt restructurings and security enforcement in sponsor-driven and special situations contexts.
Léopold specialises in debt finance and restructuring transactions, with a particular focus on private equity-backed and sponsor-driven situations. He advises banks, alternative lenders, financial institutions, corporates and investment funds on a broad range of acquisition financings, leveraged and structured financings, refinancings and complex restructuring matters, often involving cross-border structures.
Prior to joining LoyensLoeff, Léopold spent over six years in Brussels, advising banks and sponsors on corporate finance transactions, and more than eight years in a leading Luxembourg law firm, where he was closely involved in high-profile financings for major private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies.
