Juan Manuel specialises in international taxation and, particularly, in the intersection between taxation, digital businesses and disrupting technologies. He monitors, analyzes and informs about international and EU tax law developments in the form of internal memos, reports, presentations and/or publications. He also provides technical support on specific tax issues that arise within the firm's practice groups.

Juan Manuel is a Ph.D. Candidate at the University of Amsterdam. His research is focused on reporting obligations imposed on online platforms under DAC7. He is also the Academic Coordinator of the research project “Designing the tax system for a cashless, platform-based and technology-driven society” (CPT project).

Before joining the firm, Juan Manuel worked on international tax matters in Latin America and in the United States. He is a former Fulbright and IFA Latam scholar.

Juan Manuel Vázquez, Professional Support Lawyer, is a member of the Tax Knowledge Centre in our Amsterdam office. He focuses on International and European tax law. He is a member and the coordinator of the firm's Tax Transparency Knowledge Group. He is also responsible for the EU Tax Law Alert bimonthly publication.
