This landmark investment for digital infrastructure in the Central & Eastern European region is Actis’ eighth investment in the digital infrastructure space, with well over USD 1 billion currently committed in the sector, and is intended to be its cornerstone platform investment for towers in the region.

The separated portfolio consists of around 1,800 large communication towers, with roughly 1,000 located in Serbia, about 700 in Bosnia & Herzegovina, and approximately 100 in Montenegro. Actis has established an independent Towerco as part of the deal, with Telekom Srbija as its main tenant and partner for expansion. The agreement includes significant commitments to build more towers and integrate new technologies.
