Guy Palmaers is a partner in the M&A and Corporate Department of Loyens & Loeff in Luxembourg and Brussels.
His practice primarily focuses on mergers and acquisitions, cross-border corporate restructurings and general counseling on corporate and securities law matters.
Guy represents both private equity and corporate clients in domestic and cross-border transactions. He has extensive deal experience across many industry sectors, including significant depth in joint venture structures and energy related transactions.
Guy is a frequent speaker on M&A and corporate law developments and has authored articles on M&A and cross-border restructurings, among other topics. He has been an assistant professor at the University of Leuven (Jan Ronse Instituut - KU Leuven) and Hasselt University for many years.
Guy is a member of the Brussels and Luxembourg Bars and of the International Bar Association.
