Marinus Prakke

Marinus Prakke, attorney at law, is a member of the Dispute Resolution practice group in our Amsterdam office. His practice focuses on commercial contracting and international arbitration, advising clients on complex commercial contracts and representing them in arbitration-related disputes and court proceedings.
In the field of commercial contracting, Marinus is an expert in matters relating to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) objectives, intellectual property (IP), information technology (IT) and consumer law. He also has extensive experience with distribution, franchise and agency agreements.
In the field of international arbitration, Marinus’s practice covers commercial and investment arbitration, including arbitration-related court litigation. He acts in complex, high-profile court proceedings concerning the setting aside and enforcement of arbitral awards, particularly in disputes involving bilateral and multilateral investment treaties.
Prior to working on the Dispute Resolution practice group, Marinus has worked in our Competition & Regulatory practice where he advised on competition law (cartel prohibition, merger control, abuse of dominance and state aid law), foreign direct investment (FDI) screening and telecommunications law.
