Anja has extensive experience in financial reporting, accounting law, tax accounting and deferred taxation. Her expertise includes Dutch GAAP, IFRS and the accounting implications of tax rules and tax positions, as well as Pillar Two, transfer pricing and corporate income tax. She closely follows developments in Dutch, European and international tax law and supports practitioners in analysing technical issues and translating them into practical guidance.
She is involved in technical research, publications and training programmes covering a wide range of tax and accounting topics. Her areas of focus include the financial reporting implications of tax legislation, international tax reforms, global minimum taxation rules and tax transparency initiatives.
In addition to her work at Loyens & Loeff, Anja is a lecturer in accounting at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and regularly acts as a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Amsterdam. Through her teaching activities, she contributes to the education of future professionals and remains closely involved with developments in accounting and tax practice.
