During the annual shareholders meeting on 28 November 2025, Marit Bosselaar, Kévin Emeraux, Aldo Engels, Jan-Willem Kunen, Julien Lecler, Maude Royer and Eline Viersen have been appointed to the firm’s partnership from early next year.

The new partners contribute a variety of skills, knowledge, and experience to further strengthen our commitment to delivering client-centric, innovative solutions for clients:

Marit Bosselaar (Dispute Resolution, the Netherlands)

Based in Amsterdam, Marit is a specialist in class actions, commercial and financial litigation and ESG-related cases, she has successfully represented various companies such as financial institutions, real estate companies and car dealers in court proceedings. She also contributes as part of our firmwide ESG group and is a respected voice in legal scholarship.

Kévin Emeraux (Direct Tax, Luxembourg)

Kévin is a seasoned adviser in international tax structuring, he focuses on private equity and M&A transactions as well as restructurings and has lived experience from our New York office. A recognised contributor to cross-border financial transactions, he also plays an active role in the firm’s French region team. 

Aldo Engels (Direct Tax, Belgium)

Aldo leads the Transfer Pricing team in Belgium. With deep expertise across international corporate tax, transfer pricing, Pillar II, withholding taxes and financial transactions—he advises on intragroup financing, restructurings and cross-border loan structures. Aldo is acknowledged by ITR and Leaders League and widely published in his field.

Jan-Willem Kunen (Direct Tax, the Netherlands)

Jan-Willem specialises in transfer pricing and is a recognised authority on mutual agreement procedures, advance pricing agreements, business restructurings, OECD Pillar One & Two and establishing business models, he also shares his expertise teaching fellow advisers.     

Julien Lecler (Real Estate, Luxembourg/Belgium)

Julien is a real estate lawyer working across Luxembourg and Belgium. He advises clients on a broad range of real estate matters, including complex cross-border transactions and project developments. His recognised cross-border experience enhances our regional offering.

Maude Royer (Funds, Luxembourg)

Maude specialises in fund finance. Recognised as a rising star by the Fund Finance Association, she handles capital call and NAV financing, GP financing, asset-based structures, and works closely with private equity, infrastructure, real estate and debt fund clients as well as financial institutions.  

Eline Viersen (Corporate/M&A, the Netherlands)

  Based in Amsterdam, Eline specialises in Corporate/M&A as a senior deputy notary. She supports listed and private clients in governance, restructurings, M&A, IPOs and joint ventures, focusing on multinationals and investors based in North America following a secondment to New York.
