Logistics developer GEM Real Estate has acquired the site at Nieuwesluisweg 192 in Rotterdam-Botlek. The property spans approximately 24,415 square meters and includes around 10,000 square meters of existing buildings constructed in the 1990s. The current lease agreement remains in effect for another two years. Following this period, GEM Real Estate intends to redevelop the site into a future-proof, sustainable, and modern distribution center.

Strategically located in the Botlek area, one of the Netherlands’ and Europe’s key logistics and industrial hubs, the site offers excellent redevelopment potential due to its infrastructure, connectivity, and proximity to the Port of Rotterdam. This acquisition aligns with GEM’s long-term strategy to invest in logistics growth regions and reinforces its strong presence in the Rotterdam port area.
