Grégoire Jakhian heads the Corporate and M&A Practice Group, the Aviation team, the French Desk and the Non-profit team in Belgium. Grégoire has extensive experience in cross-border M&A transactions, take-over bids, corporate finance dispute resolution (including arbitration) and civil law.

His clients include listed and non-listed companies, PE funds and private companies. His clients are mostly from the US, the EU and Belgium. Grégoire is a regular conference speaker on corporate and financial law. He has written two books (one on public take-over bids and the other on banking law) and numerous articles on various aspects of corporate law, securities regulations and banking law. Until recently, Grégoire was an Assistant Professor at the Université libre de Bruxelles on corporate and financial law. He has chaired the Banking Commission of the Union of International Associations, and he is also very active in the non-profit sector. Grégoire is mentioned by Chambers & Partners Global & Europe (as leading expert in Corporate and M&A), Legal 500 (as leading individual in Corporate and M&A and Aviation) and IFLR 1000 (as leading lawyer in Mergers and Acquisitions).
