Loyens & Loeff Luxembourg S.à r.l. advised the Amaggi Group, the largest Brazilian grain and fiber company, recognised for its socio-environmental commitment, on its offering of USD 750 million aggregate principal amount of 5.250% notes due 2028. This debut cross-border bond issuance by Amaggi was structured as a sustainability bond.

The net proceeds of this offering will be invested to finance a low carbon economy through projects in line with the company’s Socio-Environmental Policy and Global Sustainability Positioning, as well as with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

We acted as Luxembourg legal and tax adviser to Amaggi alongside White & Case, acting as Brazilian and US advisers.
