Loyens & Loeff appoints two new counsels

Amsterdam, 18 January 2021 – Loyens & Loeff has appointed Jules de Beer and Merel van Asch as counsel.

New counsels

Jules de Beer, tax adviser, is member of the practice group Family Owned Business and Private Wealth. Jules assists entrepreneurs and their families to ensure the continuity of the family business and the sustainable management of the family wealth. He ensures the correct application of both national and international legislation and he has an eye for family law regulations.

Merel van Asch, attorney at law, is a member of the Litigation & Risk Management practice group. She specializes in advising on and litigating in relation to liability and insurance law. Merel has a specific focus on policy disputes, professional and product liability and technical damages. The cases she handles are often complex international high-end disputes with multiple parties involved. Merel heads Loyens & Loeff's Insurance & Liability team and leads the insurance (litigation) practice.
