Loyens & Loeff appoints new partners
Amsterdam, the Netherlands, 10 December 2021 – Loyens & Loeff has invited Veronica Aroutiunian, Olivier van der Haegen, Bart Heijnen and Tim van Straaten to join the firm as partners with effect from 1 January 2022.

Veronica Aroutiunian, attorney at law, works in the Investment Management practice. She focuses on fund structuring, notably private equity, real estate and infrastructure funds. She advises clients on the regulatory and corporate aspects of structuring, establishing, operating and marketing Luxembourg regulated and unregulated investment vehicles.
Olivier van der Haegen, attorney at law, works in the Litigation & Risk Management practice. He is experienced in dispute resolution, and mainly focuses on international commercial arbitration. He is a member of the France Region Team.
Bart Heijnen, tax adviser, works in the Indirect Tax practice. He advises clients, mainly large (international) corporations, on a broad range of indirect tax matters, focusing on the more complex VAT issues. He takes a special interest in the Energy & Infrastructure industry, and is also part of our Germany Region Team and our Restructuring & Insolvency Team.
Tim van Straaten, tax adviser, works in the Family Owned Business & Private Wealth practice. He focuses on business restructurings, group financing, business succession, real estate and intellectual property rights. He is a member of the Innovation team, Food & Beverage team and Healthcare team.
