Two new partners at Loyens & Loeff Belgium

Valentijn De Boe and Olivier van der Haegen have been appointed as local partners at Loyens & Loeff in Belgium with effect from 1 January 2020. Valentijn is a public law specialist and Olivier is an expert in commercial litigation and arbitration proceedings.

Valentijn De Boe is a member of the Loyens & Loeff Public and Administrative Law Practice Group in Belgium. Valentijn is an expert in public-private partnerships (PPPs) in Belgium and on the international scene, public procurement law and general public law. He is ranked as 'Up and Coming' lawyer in public law and has been rewarded the title of ‘Rising Star’ in PPPs.

Olivier van der Haegen is a member of the Loyens & Loeff Litigation and Risk Management Practice Group in Belgium. Olivier is experienced in international commercial arbitration, either ad hoc or under institutional rules. He also handles litigations before Belgian courts in the construction, real estate, energy and food industries. Olivier has earned the recognition of ‘Next Generation Lawyer’ in dispute resolution and as ‘Future Leader’ in international arbitration.
