Robin van der Ham is a member of the Employment & Pensions practice group at our Rotterdam office. Robin is an expert in pension law since 2004. He advises and represents clients in court or before regulators in high-profile pension cases involving (multinational) companies, (industry) pension funds and insurers.
He combines his expertise of pension law, contract law and procedural law with an in-depth knowledge of the financial aspects of pension cases. This leads to effective (and necessary) cooperation with actuaries.

Recent cases in which Robin assisted his clients include:
- The Euronext case in which the different and separate responsibilities of employers and pension funds were established by the Supreme Court;
- Summary proceedings on the Future Pensions Act in which he advised and represented industry pension funds;
- Legal proceedings (up to the Supreme Court) on the rights and obligations of companies (employers) upon termination of administration agreements with company pension funds;
- Legal proceedings and advice on investment policy.

His cases are published in the legal journal 'Pensioenjurisprudentie' and in news magazines (PensioenPro). Robin also publishes on pension matters in various professional journals.
