Jérôme Mullmaier
Partner - Attorney at Law
Jérôme Mullmaier, partner, works in the Investment Management practice in our Luxembourg office and has longstanding international experience advising asset managers on their fundraising efforts in Europe through Luxembourg structures.
Jérôme advises sponsors on the structuring, formation, and ongoing operations of private alternative investment funds (AIFs). His experience spans the full fund lifecycle - from designing structures and launching vehicles to supporting fundraising - across strategies including private equity, private debt, infrastructure, and real estate.
He assists asset managers with establishing Luxembourg fund products such as RAIFs, SIFs, SICARs, and unregulated limited partnerships (SCSp), and supports institutional investors with AIF due diligence. He routinely negotiates fund terms for sponsors and investors and has deep experience setting up managed accounts and co-investment vehicles. Recently, he has gained significant exposure to evergreen and semi-liquid strategies targeting private wealth, including via RAIFs, Part II UCIs, and ELTIF structures.
Beyond fund formation, he guides private fund sponsors through EU and Luxembourg regulatory matters shaping the alternative funds industry.
In Luxembourg, Jérôme actively contributes to the ecosystem as Co-Chair of the Private Funds Committee at LPEA and is an engaged member of ALFI. He has authored numerous articles on fund formation and regulatory topics and contributed to The Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (International Banking and Finance Law Series, Wolters Kluwer) and the LPEA’s Structuring & Market Trends Paper (December 2025).
