He advises and represents clients in court and before the authorities on matters such as competition law, state aid law, EU market law and energy. He has published various articles on state aid law. His other areas of expertise include tech law and foreign direct investment screening (FDI). Because he used to work in the Investment Management practise group as both attorney-at-law and tax advisor, he also has broad experience in the field of investment funds and real estate funds.
Boyd is a member of the Digital Economy Team, the Competition Litigation Team, the Energy Team, and the Healthcare Team.
