What does the coalition agreement 2024-2028 bring Dutch family-owned businesses?

On 16 May 2024, the new Dutch coalition partners concluded the coalition agreement for the years 2024-2028 entitled ‘Hope, courage and pride’. The coalition agreement includes, among others, agreements on financial topics regarding the Dutch national budget. These financial agreements are included in a budgetary appendix.

Although the coalition agreement remains “high-level”, the agreement does contain information that reflects the line of thinking. In addition, the budgetary appendix provides insight into various proposed Dutch tax measures.

We would like to look ahead with you at what the coalition agreement will bring for Dutch family-owned businesses from a Dutch tax perspective.
