The Alantra Energy Transition Secondaries Fund focuses on acquiring secondary interests in energy transition investments, providing investors with access to mature, diversified portfolios of energy transition assets while potentially reducing blind pool risk and shortening the path to capital deployment compared to traditional primary fund investments. The vehicle has acquired a portfolio of around 10 innovative growth companies across North America, Europe, and Asia from Shell Ventures.  

We advised Commonwealth Investments on the negotiation of the Alantra fund documentation and related arrangements and provided legal, tax and notarial advice in connection with the structuring and establishment of the investment vehicle through which the investment was made. The matter further highlights our experience advising investors and fund managers on transactions and investment structures across the energy transition sector.
