The transaction further strengthens CBRE IM’s Dutch residential portfolio and reflects the continued demand for high-quality, affordable housing in key metropolitan regions across the Netherlands. 

Our Real Estate team advised CBRE IM on all legal aspects of the transaction, with a particular focus on the negotiation and drafting of the construction agreement and the purchase agreement. By combining our transactional and development expertise, we supported CBRE IM throughout the acquisition process and the contractual arrangements relating to the development of the project.

The project aims to reduce the housing shortage in the Eindhoven region, which continues to benefit from strong economic and demographic growth driven by the advanced manufacturing and technology sectors.

The development combines social and environmental objectives, offering affordable rental housing in line with municipal requirements, contributing to the wider area redevelopment, and targeting BREEAM Excellent In-Use certification and CRREM alignment for 15 years after completion.
