Pieter advises all parties involved in financing transactions, including lenders, borrowers, investors, shareholders, and project companies. He specialises in secured lending (with a focus on real estate finance and leverage & acquisition finance). Furthermore, Pieter worked on a variety of large project finance matters with an emphasis on renewable energy and he assisted in the financing of several Belgian offshore and onshore wind farms.

Prior to joining Loyens & Loeff in 2016, Pieter completed a management traineeship at BNP Paribas New York. In 2019, Pieter was temporarily seconded to the Zürich office of Loyens & Loeff. In 2021, he further completed a client-secondment with the European Investment Bank (EIB) in Luxembourg for a period of three months where he assisted on several financings.
