Upon completion, the transaction will combine VodafoneZiggo Towers with Belgium Tower Partners (BTP), DigitalBridge's existing tower platform in Belgium, creating a leading independent telecommunications tower platform across the Benelux region. 

DigitalBridge, L&G and TD Asset Management have agreed to create a new independent telecommunications tower platform spanning Belgium and the Netherlands. The combined platform is expected to comprise more than 6,600 sites across Belgium and the Netherlands and serve a diversified customer base anchored by VodafoneZiggo and Telenet, alongside other leading mobile network operators.  

Our cross-border Energy & Infrastructure Team advised TD Asset Management on Dutch, Belgian and Luxembourg legal aspects of the investment. The mandate included coordinating a multidisciplinary cross-border team and advising on the complex legal and cross-border aspects of the investment and the creation of the combined platform.

The parties expect the transaction to close in early 2027, subject to the receipt of the required regulatory approvals and the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
