Our team advised Hayfin from the initial structuring discussions through to the establishment, launch and financing of the fund's Luxembourg sleeve, comprising multiple Luxembourg unregulated special limited partnerships (SCSps) across several currencies. The mandate highlights our expertise in advising on complex private credit fundraisings through an integrated approach combining fund formation and fund finance capabilities and marks another milestone in the longstanding relationship between Hayfin and Loyens & Loeff.
DLF V represents Hayfin’s flagship private credit strategy and more than doubles the capital raised for its predecessor fund, Direct Lending Fund IV, which closed in August 2023 with over EUR 6 billion in total commitments. Our team also advised Hayfin on the Luxembourg legal aspects of the structuring of DLF IV, as well as on Direct Lending Fund III, which deployed a similar strategy.
DLF V is focused on providing senior secured financing to European middle-market and upper-middle-market companies through Hayfin’s direct lending strategy.
