The investment will support the development of utility-scale renewable energy and energy storage projects across Australia, enabling Yanara to accelerate the development of its gigawatt-scale pipeline and support Australia’s transition to a more resilient and low-carbon energy system. It also reflects Mirova’s continued commitment to supporting the development of critical energy infrastructure. A key focus of the investment is Yanara’s flagship Mortlake Energy Hub in Victoria, a hybrid project featuring 450 MW of solar and 600 MW/2,400 MWh battery energy storage system.
