Harmen Holtrop is Managing Partner and a Member of the Executive Board of Loyens & Loeff, alongside Roderik Beckers and Lieselot Oosterkamp. He has held the role of Managing Partner since October 2022 and is based in Amsterdam. Harmen focuses on corporate M&A and private equity transactions, advising both corporate clients and financial investors.
Harmen Holtrop advises on a wide range of corporate matters, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and general corporate representation. He has extensive experience advising corporates on strategic transactions, as well as advising private equity firms and other financial investors on leveraged buyouts, investments and exits.
He previously served as co-chair of the firm’s corporate practice and is known for his strong transactional track record, having successfully closed a significant number of complex deals in recent years. Harmen is recognised for his expertise by leading legal directories, including Chambers & Partners (Global and Europe), Legal 500, and IFLR.
