The Holbeinhuis comprises approximately 6,100 m² of high-quality office space and has 43 parking spaces. The building is designed as a modern multi-tenant office and offers, amongst other things, prestigious office floors, flexible meeting facilities, breakout areas, a mezzanine and attractive roof terraces and is situated in a prime location opposite Rotterdam Town Hall. It has recently undergone extensive renovation and sustainability improvements, during which its historic character has been preserved whilst investments have been made in quality, comfort and sustainability.

Thanks to this refurbishment, the Holbeinhuis holds BREEAM Excellent certification and an A++ energy rating, making it one of the most sustainable office buildings in the centre of Rotterdam.

We advised Weverskade Vastgoed on the legal and tax aspects of the acquisition, combining our (notarial) real estate and tax expertise to ensure a seamless execution of the transaction. This transaction also demonstrates our commitment to supporting clients in sustainable real estate investments.

The Holbeinhuis was originally designed in the 1950s by Kraaijvanger Architects and is regarded as one of the first office buildings to be constructed on Coolsingel during the post-war reconstruction period. The combination of architectural quality, a unique inner-city location and outstanding sustainability features makes the building a particularly valuable addition to Weverskade’s portfolio. With this acquisition, Weverskade underlines its belief that property creates value not only for investors, but also for users, tenants and the local community.

Weverskade Vastgoed is a Dutch area developer focused on creating sustainable living environments, with a strong emphasis on quality, long-term value and spatial development.
