New technologies are changing how work is performed, how services are delivered, and what clients expect from their advisers. While technology itself is only one part of the equation, understanding how to work effectively alongside AI is becoming an increasingly important capability for future legal and tax professionals.

The AI Summer School is designed to explore these developments in a practical and accessible way. Participants gained insight into how AI is already being applied within our practice, learned how to use AI tools more effectively, and explored real-world examples of how technology will support professional work.

A key objective of our approach to AI is to help our people and future talent embrace and prepare for the opportunities and challenges that technological change brings. By engaging with students and aspiring professionals today, Loyens & Loeff aims not only to spark curiosity about AI in the legal and tax profession, but also to build a deeper understanding of how the profession is evolving and the skills that will be needed to succeed in the years ahead.

As AI continues to transform the legal and tax landscape, developing AI literacy and adapting to new ways of working will remain a crucial step of preparing for the future.
