Headquartered in Drachten, the Netherlands, CCI operates four production facilities in the Netherlands and Germany and has developed a strong market position through its expertise in confectionery manufacturing, innovation and sustainability. 

The acquisition represents a natural strategic fit for Orkla Snacks and will further strengthen its presence in the European confectionery market. CCI has been supplying selected BUBS products to Orkla Snacks since 2025, and the transaction will support the continued growth and international expansion of the BUBS brand by securing additional production capacity and leveraging CCI's extensive capabilities in vegan confectionery production.

The parties expect the transaction to close towards the end of the third quarter of 2026, subject to the required regulatory approvals and completion of the works council consultation process.
