The portfolio comprises of 41 mid-rent apartments and 63 unregulated rental units, distributed across two residential buildings in Merwede Bloom Park, a development by Orion Investment Partners in collaboration with Boelens de Gruyter and G&S&. Construction is being carried out by Janssen de Jong Bouw. Merwede is development into a green, car-free residential and working district with approximately 6,000 homes and high-quality bicycle and public transport connections. This makes it one of the largest inner-city housing developments in the Netherlands.

We assisted throughout the transaction, including the purchase agreement, the turnkey development agreement and the transfer. We advised on legal title, construction, zoning and tax aspects of the project.
