Ali focuses on tax procedure and litigation across all areas of taxation, including personal and corporate income tax, miscellaneous duties and levies, and regional taxation. He assists clients throughout the entire tax dispute process, from the audit phase to representation before the Belgian courts and tribunals.

He is a teaching assistant in tax law at ULB and is involved in the editorial process of the Journal de droit fiscal, in close collaboration with Caroline Docclo.

Prior to joining Loyens & Loeff, Ali worked alongside attorneys at the Court of Cassation, gaining valuable experience in high-level litigation and legal reasoning.

He has been awarded the Georges Boels Prize (2023) and the Janson Prize (2024) for excellence in oral advocacy.
