His practice includes advising on both domestic and cross-border transactions, supporting clients throughout all stages of the transaction lifecycle. Sander combines legal expertise with a pragmatic and commercially driven approach, helping clients navigate complex strategic transactions and corporate developments.
Representative matters include advising on a take-private transaction involving a Dutch company listed on NASDAQ, various private equity investments in the logistics sector, and the acquisition of a leading international provider of core services to the offshore energy industry. He also advised a leading international real estate investor and developer on a strategic partnership for the development of a build-to-rent residential project in Berlin and advised the founders of a third-generation family-owned business and leading producer of high-quality, fully recyclable plastic packaging solutions on a strategic partnership with a private equity fund.
Prior to joining the corporate practice of Loyens & Loeff, Sander was part of the banking and finance practice at Loyens & Loeff, where he advised financial institutions on debt capital markets transactions and financial regulatory matters. His experience included advising payment institutions, crypto-asset service providers and issuers of securities. This background enables him to provide additional insight into transactions involving regulated businesses and participants in the financial sector.
