Based in our New York office, Veronique Sway provides Luxembourg tax and transfer pricing advice to US asset managers, particularly regarding their European fund launches, the establishment of Luxembourg fund management companies (AIFMs), Luxembourg service companies, and European investment strategies.
Veronique is member of our cross-border NYC/Luxembourg fund formation and regulatory team and therefore has – as a tax lawyer - a strong eye for fund regulatory matters. She leverages this expertise to ensure that Luxembourg regulatory solutions are also efficiently managed and supported from a tax perspective, which is a crucial element.
Veronique also advises corporate clients on corporate reorganisations and (re)financing arrangements. She has worked in the New York office since 1990.
For her work, Veronique has been recognised by Who’s Who Legal (Corporate Tax) for several years. She is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the Foreign Lawyers Forum of the American Bar Association, Section of Taxation (ABA).
