Sophie combines extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions with a strong focus on knowledge management, artificial intelligence, legal innovation and professional development within legal practice.
As part of Loyens & Loeff's Law Knowledge Centre, she supports lawyers in delivering high-quality, efficient and client-focused legal services. Her work includes the development of legal knowhow, drafting and maintaining template documentation, process optimisation, legal technology initiatives and the design and implementation of artificial intelligence solutions, including specialised AI agents that support legal work, knowledge sharing and professional efficiency.
Before moving into a knowledge-focused role, Sophie worked in the firm's London office and was seconded to a leading US law firm, gaining valuable international experience in corporate transactions.
Sophie is actively involved in training and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the legal profession. She regularly provides training sessions and contributes to the development of legal knowhow. In 2026, she authored two articles in Ondernemingsrecht & Financiering on asset deal transactions, covering the transfer of assets and liabilities and the legal complexities associated with knowhow as a business asset.
As a registered intervision facilitator for lawyers, Sophie is committed to supporting continuous professional development, reflection and quality within the legal profession.
