Joren’s practice focuses on the infrastructure and energy sector, including in particular public procurement contracts, concessions and public-private partnerships (PPPs). He specializes in Belgian and EU tender procedures (including projects under the Financial Regulation and Horizon Europe) and disputes concerning public contracts and regulatory decisions.

Joren has experience with proceedings before the EU and Belgian courts (civil courts, Council of State and Constitutional Court) and the European Commission.

Prior to joining Loyens & Loeff in 2020, Joren worked as an associate in a Brussels law firm.
