Laurine Vanherck, attorney at law, is a senior associate in the International Tax Services practice group and a member of the Employment Tax team in our Brussels office. She specialises in the tax aspects of employee and directors' compensation, covering both national and international aspects.

Laurine has an extensive knowledge of all aspects of employment taxation within a national and international context.
She mainly focuses on the tax treatment of employee's and directors' compensation in a cross-border context (including long-term incentive plans, benefits in kind, costs proper to the employer, etc.). Inbound and outbound expatriation, salary splits and the special tax regime for foreign executives are part of Laurine’s core business.
She also regularly advises on determining the applicable social security regime under Belgian and international law.
Before joining Loyens & Loeff in 2022, Laurine worked at renowned law firms.
