Iman Smit, attorney at law, is a member of the Corporate/M&A practice group in our London office.
Iman specialises in corporate law, focussing on (cross-border) mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity transactions. Iman maintains a broad corporate M&A practice and advises both corporates and (international) private equity firms on transactions and corporate matters in a large variety of sectors. As of 1 September 2023, Iman is seconded to the London Office of Loyens & Loeff, where he focuses on M&A and private equity transactions with an international angle.
Before joining the Corporate/M&A practice group, Iman was a member of the Banking & Finance practice group, where he advised financial institutions, investors and companies on public and private debt offerings and other (national and international) financing transactions. In addition, Iman advised clients on legal and financial regulatory aspects of their businesses and transactions in the Netherlands.
