Loyens & Loeff appoints 4 new counsel in the Netherlands

Amsterdam, 23 January 2020 – Loyens & Loeff has appointed Pjotr Heemskerk, Jelmer Kalisvaart, Marieke Kolsters and Maureen te Poel as counsel.

Pjotr Heemskerk, attorney at law, is a member of the Litigation & Risk Management practice group.
He specialises in negotiating, advising and litigating with respect to commercial contracts, intellectual property rights and IT, with a particular focus on contract negotiations, transactions and e-commerce.

Jelmer Kalisvaart, attorney at law, is a member of the Corporate practice group. He specialises in equity capital markets, IPOs and public takeover bids and also advises on securities regulation and corporate governance.

Marieke Kolsters, deputy civil law notary, is a member of the Corporate/M&A practice group. She specialises in healthcare-related corporate transactional work and in governance and regulatory related assignments for healthcare institutions and - inter alia - financial institutions and entities that are active in the insurance and pension sector. She is a notarial specialist for these type of assignments and experienced in drafting the articles of association and regulations.

Maureen te Poel, attorney at law, is a member of the Employment & Benefits practice group. She specialises in employment law, with a particular focus on the employment aspects of M&A-deals and restructurings, co-determination procedures, participation structures and sector-specific regulations on remuneration, and the dismissal of managing directors and other top management.
