Final countdown: the reform of the property law enters into force on 1 September 2021
The Belgian Real Estate team invites you to join their dedicated afternoon seminar - on site and live streamed - on 2 September 2021, followed by an 'end-of-summer drink'.
We are pleased to invite you to our seminar on 2 September 2021 followed by an 'end-of-summer drink' which will conclude our presentation of the property law reform. As of 1 September this reform of property law will be applicable and we therefore propose a final afternoon seminar to review together the most important points of this new regulation.
During this seminar we will discuss the (new) civil law aspects of the property rights (long-term lease, right to build and usufruct) as well as their impacts from a bankability and tax point of views.
You can also discover our dedicated webpage, where we inform you about this important reform for the real estate sector. You will already find on this webpage
- the infographics (with Kluwer) summarising the reform, the long-term tenancy right, the building right and the usufruct the long-term tenancy right, the building right and the usufruct;
- the slides and recording (in French and Dutch) of our five webinars discussing certain topics and cases.
