Carola van den Bruinhorst

Carola van den Bruinhorst, tax advisor, is a member of Loyens & Loeff’s International Tax Services practice group. In 2011 she founded and headed Loyens & Loeff’s Hong Kong office where she worked until 2017.

About Carola van den Bruinhorst

Carola advises internationally operating corporate clients, financial institutions and funds on Dutch and Luxembourg taxation in connection with mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, international financing transactions and other international structures.

She has been actively involved in the International Bar Association, served the IBA Taxes Committee in various roles, including as co-chair. She has been a member of the IBA Legal Practice Division Council during 2011-2014 and is a member of its Management Board since 2015. As of 2019, she is the IBA's Treasurer and LPD's Secretary-Treasurer.

Carola frequently lectures and publishes on international tax planning. During her term in Hong Kong, she was a visiting professor at the East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai, where she lectures on International Tax.
