BNP Paribas will invest as minority shareholder alongside EQT Infrastructure in SAUR.
This investment is EQT Infrastructure’s first investment in France. It represents a key milestone in EQT’s overall growth strategy and geographical expansion into the attractive French market.

A combined team of our investment management and corporate practices comprising Thibaut Partsch for the investment funds practice and Mathilde Lattard and Jordan Kaselow for the corporate practice assisted the client through the entire life cycle of the EQT Infrastructure III fund from its set-up, structuring and launching to building up and implementation of the holding structure  for the acquisition of SAUR. The deal complexity required innovative thinking and quick decision-making to ensure our client’s interests are properly secured.

We have recently also advised our long-standing client EQT Fund Management on the acquisition of SUSE and the closing of their eighth fund.
