Loyens & Loeff appoints 9 new partners
Amsterdam, the Netherlands, 17 December 2019 – Loyens & Loeff has invited Vilmar Feenstra, Freek Hilberdink, Imme Kam, Kim Koops, Mathilde Lattard, Louis Lutz, Dirk-Jan Maasland and Rick van der Velden to join the firm as partners with effect from 1 January 2020. Furthermore Willem Bon was admitted to rejoin the firm as a partner on that date as well, after a period with a Big Four company. With the appointment of these 9 new partners, Loyens & Loeff continues to focus on its growth and international integration of law & tax.

Vilmar Feenstra, attorney at law, is a member of the Investment Management practice group. He specialises in fund formation and fund investments. He assists private equity and venture capital fund managers with the formation, fundraising and operation of their funds.
Freek Hilberdink, deputy civil law notary, is a member of the Corporate/M&A practice group. He specialises in providing corporate advice on all aspects of national and international mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and joint ventures, with a strong focus on private equity transactions and management buyouts.
Imme Kam, tax adviser, is a member of our International Tax Services practice group and our region team France. He specialises in Dutch and international tax structuring for multinational enterprises, with a particular focus on French clients.
Kim Koops, attorney at law, is a member of the Banking & Finance practice group. He specialises in secured lending (with a focus on real estate finance), in the acquisition and financing of loan portfolios and in financial restructuring transactions.
Mathilde Lattard, attorney at law, registered with the Bar in Luxembourg and in Paris, is a member of our Luxembourg Corporate/M&A practice group and our region team France. She advises major private equity firms on corporate structuring and financing in cross-border M&A transactions.
Louis Lutz, tax adviser, is a member of our International Tax Services practice group and our dedicated M&A tax team. He specialises in Dutch and international tax matters with a strong focus on (cross-border) M&A, private equity and debt/equity capital markets transactions.
Dirk-Jan Maasland, deputy civil law notary, is a member of the Family Owned Business & Private Wealth group. He advises clients on estate and succession planning, family governance and the handling of complex, often cross-border, estates.
Rick van der Velden, tax adviser, is a member of our Family Owned Business & Private Wealth group. He is a trusted adviser to his clients, that include Dutch and international family owned businesses and their shareholders. Rick also specializes in the tax aspects of legal mergers and demergers.
Willem Bon, tax adviser, is a member of our International Tax Services practice group in our Luxembourg office. He focuses on cross-border tax issues of business, funds and individuals.
