He has been involved in several high-profile national and international transactions in the telecom and energy sector and regularly represented principal international private equity houses such as KKR, CVC and Bain Capital in their investments, add on and exit transactions. His recent engagements include the divestment by Casino of its interest in retail group Super de Boer, the investments by General Atlantic Partners in GlobalCollect Services and Adyen, the investments by ASTORG Partners in M7 and SGG, the investment by Antin in Eurofiber and the acquisition by Arkema of Den Braven Group.

He was managing partner of the New York office from 1991 to 1996. Philip is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) and the New York State Bar. He frequently lectures and has published various articles in the area of public and private M&A.
