Rutger Hafkenscheid

Rutger Hafkenscheid (1964), tax lawyer, advises a wide range of clients on transfer pricing and tax decision making. He has been with Loyens & Loeff since 2013, after having been a partner for more than ten years with one of the Big Four accounting firms.

About Rutger Hafkenscheid

Rutger is a member of the Transfer Pricing & Economics Team. He specialises in the transfer pricing aspects of financial transactions, the allocation of risk between associated companies and tax decision making. He advises a wide range of clients, including property investment funds, energy companies, financial services providers, pension funds and private equity. Rutger has a deep knowledge on the pricing of risk. Rutger lectures tax decision making at the Rijksuniversiteit of Groningen and transfer pricing at the Universiteit van Amsterdam and the International Tax Center in Leiden. Rutger is a mediator.
