About Marieke Kolsters
Marieke has broad experience both in advisory assignments and transactional work, predominately based on international matters with either a cross-border or multi-jurisdictional angle. She has been involved in setting up numerous (inter)national (tax-driven) acquisition and investment structures, JV's and strategic alliances. Marieke is one of the key members of the Loyens & Loeff Healthcare team as well as the Loyens & Loeff Life Sciences team. Areas of expertise include corporate restructuring, reorganisations, (de)mergers, share/asset deals and advice on management and employee equity incentive schemes.
Marieke specialises in healthcare-related corporate transactional work and advising clients who are active in the healthcare sector on various topics, mostly governance related. Apart from this, she specialises in governance and regulatory related assignments for - inter alia - financial institutions and entities that are active in the insurance and pension sector. More generally speaking, assignments for all sorts of non-listed regulated entities. Therewith, she is a notarial specialist for these type of assignments and experienced in drafting articles of association and regulations for these kind of entities.
