Jop specialises in corporate law, including corporate litigation and arbitration and corporate advisory. He advises national and international clients on a wide range of issues. These include general corporate matters, commercial contracts, directors liability, matters concerning annual accounts and various matters between shareholders.
Jop is also a lecturer at the Nyenrode Business University and a regular speaker at several other universities on corporate law matters. He regularly publishes on corporate law topics. He is furthermore an editorial member of the corporate law magazine Maandblad voor Ondernemingsrecht (a professional journal regarding corporate law) and a doctoral candidate at the University of Leiden. His PhD thesis is about the corporate group facility of article 2:403 DCC.
